    1991, SUS SCROFA premier groupe de métal extrême occitan, né dans l'ambiance des groupes sataniques nordiques en plein essor et dans l' underground qui si rattache, il sera plutôt inspiré par les groupes grecs et tchèques. le groupe fondera son style le "pyrenean pagan métal" Chanté en occitan, soutenu par des textes poétiques relatant les mythes et légendes des Pyrénées et par une musique mélodique intense, le "pagan" français était né. La démo k7 "Dins Ech Cel d'Asteartia" obtient un vif succès parmi l' underground, y compris l' underground très fermé international. Reconnu par leurs pairs, elle sera distribué par tous les labels et distributeurs français et chroniqué dans la majorité des fanzines du moment (Decibels Storm, etc...) . En 1994 prônant un mélange plus traditionaliste, Aherbelste et Fagus créaient un projet plus acoustique "Stille Volk"... SUS SCROFA ne résistera pas et disparaitra au départ d' Aherbelste en 1996................................. 1991, SUS SCROFA first group of Occitan extreme metal, evolving in the atmosphere of the Scandinavian satanic groups rapidly expanding and has the underground which if connects, it will rather be inspired by the Greek and Czech groups and will mark its difference by creating its style " pyrenean pagan metal " Sung in Occitan, supported by poetic texts telling the myths and the legends of Pyrenees and by intense melodic music, the French "pagan" had been born.
