Après une dizaine d'années passée dans le milieu du hip hop, je m'en détourne en 2000 déçu par son évolution. Je découvre alors Boards of Canada lors de mes études supérieures. Immédiatement, je m'attarde sur ces rythmiques “simples" mais novatrices. A ce moment je comprends réellement que la musique m'accompagne et m'apaise et que je peux par son biais m'exprimer et dévoiler mes états d'âme. Elle devient un véritable langage. Ma méthode de composition s'en trouve changée et je décide de ne plus me soumettre aux règles communes et établies (Refrain, couplet, pont etc…). Ma créativité, à l'image de mon évolution en tant qu'Homme, ne doit pas être bridée. Aussi, je prends le temps sur mes introductions d'installer une ambiance comme je prends le temps d'observer et “d'analyser" les situations -ou les gens- dans ma vie quotidienne. Cette introduction permet aussi à l'auditeur de remettre “à zéro" son attention auditive et "de faire le vide dans sa tête", mais elle sert aussi à le préparer à la suite du morceau et plus particulièrement à la montée émotionnelle que j'essaie de faire passer. Je considère désormais la musique que je fais comme mon mode de communication principal, et j'essaie d'exprimer à travers celle-ci mes sentiments et mes émotions personnelles. Je considère ma musique comme étant autobiographique.

In 2000, after having devoted a decade to hip-hop music, I found myself disenchanted with the evolution of the genre. Around the same time, I was exposed to Boards of Canada, and was instantly drawn to their simple and innovative sounds. I realized that music was not only integral to my inner peace, but an essential mode of expressing states of mind and being. At that moment , the potential of music as language became evident, and I began to experiment outside of conventional uses of refrain, verse and bridge. Now, I expend more time creating feeling with intros because I take more time observing and analysing situations – or people – in every day life. Longer intros require the listener to make a ‘vacuum of their mind’ and focus their attention. They also set-up what follows, especially the emotional rises that I want to evoke in the audience. Today, I approach my music as though it were a main form of communication to express my feelings and emotions. In this way, my music is now autobiographical.
