MYSTIC LOW FONK ...... Ces musiciens, issus de formations rock différentes, se retrouvent autour d’une passion commune des musiques noires américaines, leur musique est très influencée par le funk psychédélique des éminents groupes noirs comme Funkadelic et Parliament. .. L’esprit de la formation est d’emblée assez libre et les grands noms du funk douaisien viennent spontanément se greffer aux musiciens déjà présents. Le groupe trouve son identité sonore entre guitares acérées, mélodies somptueuses et envolées rythmiques. Leur réputation de master of the essential groove commence à être connue sur les scènes de la région. En évoluant au fil des années, la formation voit passer différents musiciens qui enrichissent les influences et le son du groupe toujours dans un esprit de liberté et d’énergie. La musique mélange alors rythme du Maghreb, rythme afro-américain et musique africaine en gardant toujours une esthétique funk forte. .... Fin 2008, le groupe intègre une nouvelle section cuivre : Sax ténor, sax alto, trompette, clavier et convint la chanteuse Wakou Sangaré d’intégrer le groupe comme lead vocal ! ..
