    Fils d'un batteur de Blues et d'une mère danseuse, Mr Samy est un vétéran de la scène Reggae Française. Raggamuffin Soldat, il évolue avec un style propre, percutant et incisif. Ses paroles sont tranchantes, abordant les thèmes les plus légers (la fête ...) comme les plus difficiles (la guerre en Palestine ...) Animateur hors pair, Samy est capable d'enflammer tous les styles de publics. Il chante sur le Reggae, le Ragga, la Drum & Bass, en sound system ou en live. Son expérience de plus de 10 ans de scènes lui a procuré une grande facilité d'adaptation. Il débute dés 1992 en créant son propre sound system : Anonym. A l’occasion d’une première partie, il rencontre le duo Raggamuffin « Saï Saï » avec lesquels ils créent le Rare sound system qui les mènera sur les routes de France et d'Europe (Suisse, Belgique et Italie) à l'occasion de la sortie de l'album « le Ragga ça le fait ». Cette tournée les emmènera jusqu'à Sarajevo, 3 mois après la fin de la guerre, pour un concert en faveur de la paix aux côtés de Daddy Yod, FFF, Willyman, mémorable !!! En 1996, Samy pose ses valises au sein du Sound & Vibes sound system un des sound system parisiens parmi les plus actifs à son époque (demi finaliste de la première édition des championnats de France des sound system). Parallèlement, Samy développe son goût pour la Drum & Bass suite à sa rencontre avec le regretté Willyman, figure de proue du mouvement Drum & Bass Français et du sound system « Mas I Mas ». Il devient l'un des premiers MC Drum & Bass en France. Samy joue actuellement avec le dancehall sound system et label Like Dat en compagnie du selecta Trevor, captain B, Dizzy, Raan, Rom1 et de Big Red ( le parrain du sound ) et parallellement avec la Caravane Electro, groupe Lillois jouant une musique mêlée de Hip Hop, de Drum, de musique Tziganne et Indienne avec lequel il sillonne les routes de France et d’Europe de salles de concerts en festivals : Sziget festival (Budapest, Hongrie), Rock Oz Arènes (Avenches, Suisse), le Nancy Jazz Pulsation, les Arts Dînent à l’Huile (Douarnenez), La Noche (Lille). Il collabore aussi regulierement avec le sound system et label Zion Gate. Friand de nouvelles aventures musicales, Mr Samy travaille actuellement sur des sonorités breakbeat et électro aux côté de Dj’s tels que Dirty Bambi, Stéréo et Almazone, C-Cil Facom… Au travers de ses différentes aventures, Samy a partagé les scènes avec : Raggasonic, Big Red, General Levy, Daddy Freddy, Mikal Roze, Robert Lee, Tippae Irie, U-Roy, Al Campbell, Morgan Heritage, Jamalski, Zebda, Assassin, Ntm, Lyricson, U-Brown, Daddy Mory, Azrock, Uman, FFF, Java, Orange Blossom, Cali, Simple Minds, Dubian, Hight Tone, Dee Nasty, Lord of the Underground, Rcola(chopstick sound)... ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Son of a Blues drummer and a dancer, Mr Samy is a French reggae veteran. Raggamuffin soldier, he's got is own style. He deals with many different topics, from the lightest (question of partying...) to the roughest (wars...). He is a french activist, a raggamuffin singer, since more than ten years. This decade of experience makes him able to adapt himself to many kind of different styles and so, to touch many different kinds of publics and people. He features on Reggae, Ragga and Drum’n Bass musics. He began by creating his own Sound System, called Anonym Sound System. Playing the first part of one Saï Saï show, he met them, and create altoghether the Rare Sound System. They made the " RAGGA CA LE FAIT" Reggae Tour through France, Switzerland, Belgium and Italy. This tour ended in Sarajevo with a concert for peace three months after the end of the war, with Daddy Yod, FFF, Willyman...unforgetable! In 1996, this trip ended by meeting the Sound & Vibes Sound System, This parisian sound system was playing an active role through their music. At this time, Samy was getting more and more involved in drum’n bass, because of his collaboration with Willyman, precursor of drum’n bass in France, member of the Mas I Mas sound system. Samy became one of the first french Drum’n Bass Mc. Samy is actually working with the dancehall sound system Like Dat, with the selekta Trevor, they are supported by Big Red. He working too with the band from Lille called La Caravane Electro, who mixes hip hop, drum n' bass, tzigan and indie musics. La Caravane Electro is travelling through France and Europe, taking part in festivals and concerts, for example: sziget festival (Budapest, Hungary) Rock Oz Arénes (Avenches, Switzerland), Nancy Jazz Pulsation, les Arts Dînent à l'Huile (Douarnenez), la Noche (Lille). And they often collaborate with the Zion Gate label and sound system. As a MC, he enjoys new musical experiences. He is working on emerging styles in France, as nu skool break, and electro music in general. He has made shows with many DJ’s as Dirty Bambi, Stéréo and Almazone, C-Cil Facom... Mr Samy has played at same stages than Raggasonic, Big Red, General Levy, Daddy Freddy, Tonton David, Mikal Roze, Robert Lee, Tippae Irie, U-Roy, Al Campbell, Morgan Heritage, Jamalski, Zebda, Assassin, NTM, Lyricson, U-Brown, Daddy Mory, Azrock, Uman, Simple Minds, Dubian, High Tone, Dee Nasty, Lord of the Underground, and more .... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... .. .. .. .. ..
