Bio:

Born on 1 June 1984. Studied at musical class of Jelgava Secondary School No.4. Lily had been singing in a girls' choir for nine years and taken part in Song and Dance Festival. "It's a wonderful feeling when thousands of people get united in a song", says Lily. Lily has enjoyed singing and dancing since her childhood. Almost every day she organised concerts for her parents. When Lily was little, she always dreamt of being a famous singer. In her teens, Lily was a fan of "Take That" and loved every song of theirs. In 1998 Lily came to an audition where a new girl-band "Rimmel Roses" was formed. Lily passed the competition and got into the group. In the band Lily made friends with the current solo-artist Ladybird. They underwent intense preparatory training but the group split due to producers' fault. In 2000 Lily received an offer to sing for Lauris Raynix. There she surprisingly met Ladybird for the second time. They sang back-vocals for Lauris both in concerts and in studio. Lily says that her dream came true as she could perform on big scene. After three years Ladybird launched a solo-career and Lily had personal difficulties to continue as a back-vocalist. One day before a concert in Talsi Lily and Lauris where playing the piano and singing when accidentally a new song came to their mind. Now their duet "Tev sodien vienalga" ("You Don't Care Today") is a TOP5 single in Latvian airplay chart "Spice" and has won the LNT Music Video Beach Party in Liepaja. It was Lily's dad who encouraged her to submit an application for the reality show "Talent Factory". Now that the show is over, Lily has doubts if it was the right decision, neverthless she gained much. The young singer understood that she is strong and regained self-confidence. Lily is especially happy about meeting Dons. Their first single "Just For You" is his dedication to Lily. Lily has also showed her talent as a singing actress. In May 2004 she performed the role of Liesl in the legendary "Sound Of Music" musical in Riga. Lily earns much attention from mass media. In April 2004 she surprised everyone with her mature looks on Santa magazine cover, but in August 2004 - the sexy FHM photoshoot. Lily is also gracing the pages of FHM 2005 and 2008 wall calendar. In year 2006 and 2007 Lily is performing in musical Westside Story www.vestsaidasstasts.lv In year 2008, she is participating in Eurovision song contest Latvia with the song DOWNLOAD YOUR DREAM by Markus Riva. ....realeditorbest profile tools..realeditorbest profile tools
