Stille Volk joue une musique originale inspirée de la musique médiévale, celtique et occitane* à laquelle se rajoute des sons plus modernes.* Le tout est* joué par des instruments tout aussi originaux provenant de tous horizons et de toutes époques (vielle à roue, nyckelharpa, cornemuses, boudègue, bouzouki...). le groupe depuis ses débuts s'inscrit dans une thématique païenne, légendaire et mythologique. Le quatuor nous propose un répertoire qui alterne des compostions originales extraites des différents albums, des morceaux traditionnels* (en français et en occitan) le tout réadapté pour un rendu à la fois énergique et plus mystique et se singularise à la fois dans une thématique festive, orgiaque mais aussi plus ténébreuse,* onirique et hypnotique.
