.. Ne en 1959, etudie d'abord le folk puis tres rapidement les musiques africaines, il joue avec Geoffrey Oryema,Dede st Prix, Salif Keita,Toure Kunda, Tony Allen et Souad Massi qu'il accompagne depuis 1999. Il a collabore en France avec Philippe Leotard, Jil Caplan,Princess Erika,Carole Laure, Jacques Higelin... Dans la mouvance electro il participe au "A reminiscent drive" de Jay Alanski, et travaille regulierement avec Bob Sinclar et d'autres animateurs des dance floor. Melangeant de nombreux styles il produit avec le groupe Kyffyz, deux albums,un album avec la chanteuse guineenne Aissata Kouyate sous le nom de groupe Woo-ssay,un album de chansons avec le percussionniste chanteur Pascal Servain et de nombreux disques de musiques pour les enfants.Actuellement en preparation l'enregistrement d'une tournee avec le batteur-compositeur Mokhtar Samba et la promotion du dvd live de Souad Massi. -
