Internationally revered French electronic pop duo AIR, Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin, will release their fifth studio album Love 2 on October 5th (October 6th in the US), the follow-up to 2007’s acclaimed Pocket Symphony, and the first production to spring to life from their very own state-of-the-art recording facility Atlas Studio.

Il était une fois, dans un petit royaume à cinq côtés, une princesse qui rêvait de conquérir le monde (ou sa proche banlieue). Comme le port d’arme, même de type B (comme batte de baseball),est interdit, elle avait opté pour le rock comme arme de persuasion massive. Le premier objectif stratégique était un lieu connu à travers le monde entier pour son importance capitale dans l’histoire du rock (et un peu du Roll mais moins). Il s’agissait de la légendaire citée perdue de Pontault-Combault, le berceau de la guitare à vapeur (inventée par Gérard Cugnot en 1864). Un instrument pour lequel Wagner lui-même avait composé « Symphonie around the clock » et « roll over à vapeur », pièces certes peu connues de son répertoire mais ô combien culottées pour une époque aussi guindée du fion.
