Ian

Après de nombreux projets musicaux montés depuis très jeune, Ian se lance, courant 2009, dans la composition d'un album solo. Jour après jour, la vie fait qu'il se retrouve dans son appartement de 9m², en retrait du monde extérieur, favorisant la création musicale.

Durant l'été 2009, il réunit alors une équipe de musiciens et amis en studio pour deux mois, le temps de préparer, enregistrer et produire l'album nommé "There're no more weeks, only days without name". Les premières versions de la maquette qui avaient une dimension électro bien présente(dans la veine d'Emilie Simon, Aaron, Radiohead...) ont pris un caractère bien plus organique et chaleureux grâce à l'apport des musiciens.

Ainsi, Ian représente, au delà de l'identité de l'artiste, l'identité même d'un groupe, qui s'est soudé autour d'un projet simple : interpréter une musique sincère, puis la faire vivre auprès de tous ceux qui sauront l'apprécier.



After a lot of different musical projects launched ever since he was young, Ian starts writing in 2009 a solo album. Day after days, life bring him to stay in a 9 square meters-flat, out of the outside world, which favored musical creation.

During summer 2009, he then brings together a team of musicians and friends to the studio for a 2 month-period, in order to prepare, record and produce the album entitled 'There's no more weeks, only days without name'. The first demos had a strong electronic dimension (along the same lines as Emilie Simon, Aaron, Radiohead…), but the sound took a more organic and warm direction thanks to the musicians contribution.

Thus, 'Ian' portrays, beyond a reflection of the sensibility of a single artist, the identity of a band itself, which bound 5 people together around a simple project : to play a sincere music, and bring it to life for people who would appreciate it.
