Daisy Lambert assume un vrai parti pris sonore, en réconciliant une chanson française aux références sûres (Christophe, Gainsbourg, Chamfort, Katerine, Tellier, Daho) et une french touch early 80's, à la fois kitch et élégante. Parmi les nappes de synthés vintages, hands claps fédérateurs, et autres riffs de guitares imparables, on est séduit par la fraicheur émanant des compositions, et on se délecte des petits paradoxes qui rendent les morceaux et le personnage attachants : le dancefloor flirte avec le slow, Francis Lai s'accouple avec les Daft Punk, Lambert de Charleville-Mézières fait naître Daisy, from L.A

Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. You ever remind me of the enigma of happy thoughts I once forgot. As the bliss slowly rises in my incandescent eluxulator, your mere presence has a euphoric effect upon me. Your beauty is equal to the smoothness of a polished gem. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a volcano in heat. The music that flows from your instruments overwhelms me with creativity. Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. The sand runes crossing your divided consciousness do speak of contemptuous monsters being slayed by flying phoenixes.
