Although it is difficult to describe music with words, AONE creates its own musical world, sharing it through a common energy. The band was born in April 2006, featuring Simon Dubreu (drums) Johann Hugot (guitar) Yann Messemanne (vocals and acoustic guitar). The combo approaches its music in a natural and positive way: clear and furious vocals with a range of guitar parts, both acoustic and instrumental, alongside rich drum parts progressing along those lines. This combination offers a music that is highly melodic but also explores more aggressive sections. The spirit of the composition is progressive in its length but the structure of the pieces is strongly inspired by the current metal genre. January 2008, the band starts the recording of its first opus with Hubert Letombes. This album called "The Age Of Aquarius" refers to the instrumental track. This embodies the AONE's spirit during the composition phase and even beyond. "The Age of Aquarius" evokes a new era full of changes, the expansion of conscience, the awakening of each individual, wisdom, unity. The master/mix is done by Rémy Déliers and the bass section performed by Thomas Verdonck. This first self produced album enabled the band to sign up with Great Dane Record’s label (distributed with Season Of Mist), for both a national and Benelux release.
