AMRAT HUSSAIN TRIO - Jungle.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. Fait partie d'une famille de musiciens depuis sept générations. Professionnel dès l'âge de 13 ans en jouant ses premiers concerts sur les chaînes nationales de la télévision indienne, il a commencé sous la double autorité de son père et de son grand-père à l’âge de 5 ans... Au début des années 2000, des rencontres importantes décident de sa carrière qui prend désormais une dimension internationale et l'installent pendant quelques années en Italie... Il jouera aux JO 2004 d’Athènes avec les Gitans DHOAD du Rajasthan ; le très remarqué LIVE AIDS 8 en 2005 avec l’Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio, et partagera les scènes des stars italiennes Paolo Conte, Avion Travel, Jovanotti, Lucciodala… Ainsi que l'univers de bien d'autres artistes : Cubains, Argentins, Tunisiens, Camerounais tel Manu Dibongo dont les traditions musicales sont des plus hétéroclites… Onze cultures seront ainsi assidûment fréquentées pendant ses trois années passées en Italie, qui lui offrent la possibilité de s'adapter et de jouer n'importe quelle émotion musicale comme si c'était sa propre musique... En 2008 Amrat fait des premières parties exaltantes, Carlos SANTANA, le Pori Jazz Festival en Finlande ; entrevue «Rockeuse» avec Mick JAGGER et partage la scène au côté de Sylvain LUC... Après avoir traversé le SZIGET, le PALEO, le WORLD FESTIVAL de CHICAGO, les NUITS ATYPIQUES de Langon… Et de nombreux autres festivals connus de par le monde, sa trajectoire se dessine désormais autour d'expériences partagées avec le Trio, aspirant à rendre sa musique universelle, sans frontières. .. .. .. ‘Empathy’ è un lp quasi interamente strumentale, composto da 10 brani caratterizzati al contempo da diverse modalità di arrangiamento (ambient, neoclassicismo, elementi etnici, dance e sfumature jazz…) e da una comune e personale cura del suono, delle dinamiche e dell'esecuzione. In ‘Empaty’ le sonorità acustiche, pianistiche o etniche ed orchestrali si fondono, si colorano e si alternano con quelle elettroniche del synth e dell’effettistica. Un insieme nato sostanzialmente dal desiderio di esprimere, evocare e rendere omaggio in musica a quell’elemento tanto inafferrabile quanto importante e concreto nel vivere di tutti i giorni che è, appunto, l’empatia...
